June 2013- Outland Camps supports Books With No Bounds

Following the lead of former Ontario Lieutenant Governor, James Bartelman, Julia (15) and Emma (14) Mogus of Oakville are continuing to support literacy among Aboriginal youth by collecting and shipping thousands of books in to Nishnawbe Aski Nation communities across northern Ontario. They have delivered in excess of 21,000 books to date with thousands more sitting in their basement ready to be processed and shipped north. Read More... »

May 2013- Outland and Blackstone TV Series

Outland has a great working relationship with APTN. For the past few seasons we have been catering the Blackstone television series production. May 2013- Outland Participates in Webequie Carrer Fair

Outland Managers, Lynne Montgomery and Dave Bradley flew into the remote community of Webequie on May 23 to participate in the Simon Jacob Memorial Education Centre annual Career Fair. Following a traditional lunchtime feast for fair participants, the school gym was absolutely full of community members of all ages looking over displays and asking questions about employment opportunities and potential career paths. May 2013- Outland Caters for Mining Essentials Program

Outland is proud to have been able to offer camp catering services for the 12-week Oshki-Pimache-O-Win's Mining Essentials program. This program offered valuable pre-employment training to 14 graduates from Webequie First Nation interested in work in the mining industry. Read More... »
