Camp Safety & Enviroment

REMOTE CAMP SAFETY

Ensuring the Health and Safety of all camp employees and guests is our first priority.   Our commitment to safety is demonstrated in our annual safety performance and the awards we have received.     We are active members in industry safety groups in all the provinces where we operate.

We achieve our industry leading safety record through planning, preparation and training of our employees and sub contractors. Our Health and Safety Policy is the foundation of our business success.     Management is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment in all our remote camp operations  to ensure work is in compliance with government regulations and corporate requirements.   Camp employees and contractors are responsible for following Outland policies and providing feedback to improve health and safety performance.   Everyone shares the responsibility to work safety, with equal concern for co-workers, the public and the environment.

If you would like more information about Outland's HSE Policy, Guiding Principles or any other safety initiative, please contact any one of our managers.

ENVIRONMENT

Outland considers protection of the environment while operating remote housing to be an important part of our corporate obligation. Our ultimate goal is zero environmental impact resulting from our operations. Concern for the environment and promoting a broader sustainability agenda are integral to Outland's professional activities and the management of our organization. We aim to follow and to promote good sustainability practice, to reduce the environmental impacts of all our activities and to help our clients and partners to do the same.
